
Russell Weiser, LEED AP, Ph.D.
Project Architect
Russell received a Master of Architecture degree in 1999 from the University of Oregon, and has been a licensed Architect in Washington since 2006. As a Project Architect, Russell has worked on many award-winning public and private projects. He also has a background in science with a keen interest in high performance buildings and resilience. Russell believes in designing high performance buildings that are also resilient and can stand up to the climactic and environmental conditions they are likely to encounter during their lifespan.
As a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional, Russell has led the LEED certification process for both Silver and Gold Certified buildings. He has also been trained as a Certified Passive House Consultant.
In his spare time, Russell enjoys the outdoors including paddleboarding, camping and hiking. His creative hobbies include custom woodworking and leatherworking projects as well as watercolor painting.
